Oh Sweet Celia! I adore this little gal and her sweet big sis Lily. Their beauty and gentle demeanor made the images from this session some of my favorite to date. Along with the simple and soft creative direction Celia’s mommy and I designed for this session.
Designing a session specific to each client is something I think is so important for so many reasons. Every session and image should be as unique and special as each person photographed. I love when I get back the questionnaire from a client and start the creative planning process. Its the first step into getting to know them and their style…and from there the creative juices start to flow. And then something super special is created.
With Celia’s session it was clear from the start that these images needed to be pure, clean, simple, soft and modern. This style really makes the images all about the beautiful baby. Once I arrived in Celia’s home to capture her photos, I knew the whites, cremes, soft pinks and very simple props were going to be perfect for these images. Creating something that will work perfectly on their walls. And more importantly a look that will truly stand the test of time.
I loved spending time with Celia’s mommy in her home to order the perfect products from her home. After evaluating the rooms and measuring the walls we were able to pick the perfect prints for her home. And she choose my personal favorite, the Standout Board, to have these images printed on. The clean and modern feel of these hangings work perfectly with the style of the images. So excited to deliver the final product to her home.
