There is no bigger honor than photographing new life! I am completely moved every time I am asked to photograph one of the biggest moments in life…welcoming a new baby! For this reason it is important that the photographs of your newborn are something that will be enjoyed for a lifetime. To me this includes providing photographs that are timeless. Not only will these photographs hang on your wall and sit on your shelves… these photos are something that will be cherished for generations. Your children will hangs these photos on their walls and they will show there albums to their children and grandchild. Its a story that will never end. With that it is also so important that each photograph contains meaning to the family. I spend a lot of time with each family understanding their personalities, likes, interests and style. It may be about using colors that match a mother’s taste and capturing that emotion, true joy that a parent feels when welcome a new life. It can also be about things that are important to a family, such an heirlooms that have been passed down through generations.
This session was packed full of meaning. Momma and I talk a lot about her tastes from colors used in her home to colors used in her wedding. They were married in the fall and sweet little Brady was a fall baby so it was important to incorporate those colors that spoke to her. We also ended up using crates that were used at their wedding as props for the baby. And the most fun part of all was creating an aviator them for this little guy as he comes from a long line of pilots. It ended up as perfectly as we envisioned as you will see below. The best part is one of the photos was awarded “Best Newborn Photography Award” from Best Newborn Photography Association! Enjoy sweet little Brady!!
