Easter Ideas {making Easter extra special this year}

DSC_5538-Edit-copyEaster will certainly feel a little different this year. There is no doubt those family gatherings will be missed this year. But there are definitely some ways you can make Easter a little extra special for your kids this year (and fun for you!) Here are some quick last minute ideas you can pull together at home or from tomorrows Target drive-up.

Make the day into a Bunny Bash

What kid doesn’t love a party?!  Spend some time the night before pulling together some unused birthday balloons and streamers. Or put some fun birthday decor into your cart for your next Target pick up.  We’ve pulled together some  tassel garland, balloons, peeps and paper straws…all in the color pink of course. Use your items to creates some  quick decor on Easter Eve so the kids have a fun surprise when they wake up. Look at this the cutest bunny bash at Kara’s Party Ideas for some inspiration https://karaspartyideas.com/2017/04/bunny-bash-easter-party-for-kids.html?utm_medium=social&utm_source=pinterest&utm_campaign=tailwind_smartloop&utm_content=smartloop&utm_term=21262434

Start the Morning with Bunny Buns

If you are feeling adventurous, whip up a batch of homemade cinnamon rolls or pick up a pre-made roll on your next Target drive up.   You can then shape these yummy morning treats into the cutest little bunny heads or buns.  If you have sprinkles, marshmallows or raisins on hand, you can give your bunnies a little personality with some faces or color. Create a Scavenger Hunter

You’ll of course need an Easter Egg hunt for your littles…but why not spice it up with a Scavenger Hunt. Or add it as another fun activity. You can keep it simple with some printables and items you have on hand.  Go see this cute Easter scavenger hunt at Happiness is Homemade https://www.happinessishomemade.net/easter-scavenger-hunt-free-printable/

Bunny Masks

Your kids will love having a little time to be creative. You can make it simple, fun and easy for all by making some cute bunny masks.  White & pink paper with a little glue will do the trick. Or find some white paper plates, scissors and cotton balls. Check out these  bunny masks at She Saved for some great ideas https://karaspartyideas.com/2017/04/bunny-bash-easter-party-for-kids.html?utm_medium=social&utm_source=pinterest&utm_campaign=tailwind_smartloop&utm_content=smartloop&utm_term=21262434  Oh if you need something a little extra, play a game of “hide the bunny” (hide and go seek} or Facetime your loved ones with your completed bunny masks.

Most importantly enjoy the time with you little family!

With Love,

Alyssa
