Family Session {What to Expect}

Capturing your family’s memories is so extremely important! Life passes by so quickly, having your memories documented ensures your family’s story last for many generations. We are so honored to be capturing these memories for you. And we look forward to making this such a fun experience for you!

What to Expect

  • Session will last approximately 1 – 1.5 hours for family of 3-5.
  • With the ever changing scene from our beautiful seasons and weather, locations will be determined a few days prior to session to ensure the most gorgeous session.
  • We will take photos in a few spots within a location to give you a beautiful variety.
  • Photos will include all necessary groupings of your family. (i.e. family, mom and baby, dad and baby, baby alone)
  • We will do both some posed photos and some a bit more relaxed to capture that genuine interaction between your family.

Tips for the Session

  • Relax and be you, let me do all the work. You have fun and enjoy your family….afterall, we are making memories.
  • Avoid prepping children to smile. The preparation and pressure can sometimes result in tense children. Rather tell them we are going to “the lake to have fun” or “spend time with the family outside”.
  • Bring some of your children’s favorite toys and/or snacks. They will be great for getting their attention and keeping them occupied.
