As a creative, I just love all the possibilities when styling a session for a newborn client. The endless amounts of props, headbands, wraps, etc are amazing…and let’s be honest, slightly addicting. 😉 All of this makes it so fun and fulfills the importance of creating a session and a style that is as unique as the baby in the photo. Along with creating a piece of art that is truly timeless as we know this photograph is something that will be passed through generations. This is the first photograph that begins to tell the story of your baby’s life. So while we could use every cute prop imaginable and create themes and so on….it is even more important to create something that is timeless and ultimately shows off everything about baby. From those little lips, to that newborn skin and the sweet little nose.
All of this is why we love this particular session so much. Its pure, simple and sweet, just enough to show of this beautiful baby girl. This tiny, stunning baby Reagan was 4 lbs 14 oz at birth and every bit of sweet. At 5 weeks early her and her family had been through a lot to welcome her to the world. Which made it as important to me as ever to give them photos they could love forever. Such an honor to photograph this family and their new baby!
