It’s always such an honor to photograph newborns. I mean this is something so special, you bring a new life into the world and you choose someone to document this time that you never want to forget. The moment, the emotions, the details and ultimately your story is told through these photographs. And as a newborn photographer I know, you are choosing someone who you believe creates quality work, produces timeless images that can tell your story, takes time to prepare you and answer your questions and someone knowledgeable and trained in safe baby posing. So to trust a photographer enough to provide all (and more) that is quite an honor. And when its someone you know its a little extra special as you wouldn’t expect them to choose you just because they know you BUT because they are looking for all of the qualities that any other client would look for in a newborn photographer.
And so as good friends of ours, this session was a little extra special for me. I am so excited for this new little family of three and what a joy it was to photograph baby William. He was such a champ! And as you will see his parents are quite photogenic as well. Its so important to have parents in these images not just for themselves, but for their children as well.
